Out the Backside

First look of our baby girl. MDubs 21 weeks along and truly a rock star mother to be. November will bring some interesting times. Can’t wait.

I think yesterday was the nail in the coffin for my loyalty to Sams Club. We saundered through about 5PM yesterday after watching “Knocked Up” with Mama Bear. Picked up my water, bum-wipe, fruit, and proceeded directly to the beer aisle. I’ve been very pleased with their different selections as of late including Leinies Variety and Sam Adams Summer Blends. Found a case of Kona which included their Long Board lager and IPA. Sweet! Threw it in the cart and went to check out. Everything is scanned without issue, until the beer. Not accepted. The chick says “I can’t sell this to you, it won’t let me scan it”. Uh…. Manager please!!  Same deal. I thought to myself…. hmmm… maybe it’s just the Kona. So I walked back to the aisle and grabbed a case of Sammy since it tasted good the last time. Lugged it all the way back to the checkout and… yup same problem. No sale of beer. Did the registers think we were suddenly transported to Minnesota where you can’t buy alcohol on Sundays? Talk about disappointment. I walked out, had the lady put the green marker on my receipt, and muttered to MW, “probably the last trip to Sams Club”. Costco here we come.
