Concerts

Friday, September 21st, 2007

With the addition of Styx and Def Leppard to the list of bands I’ve seen, I reminisce about the past:

Metallica, Ozzy, The Infectious Grooves, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Lenny Kravitz, The Cult, Cypress Hill (twice), Funkdoobious, House of Pain, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, Ministry, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pharcyde (twice), Beastie Boys (many times), Smashing Pumpkins, George Clinton, Billy Idol, Dave Mathews Band, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 cent, Beck (twice), A Tribe Called Quest, Greazy Meal, U2….

There’s probably more, I’ll add them when it comes to mind.

Rock Show

Check out the 80’s rocker skank at the Def Leppard show last night. Looks as though she may have left something on the ground.

Selling the Vette Part 2

Monday, September 17th, 2007

You may recall a while back I was contemplating the sale of the Blue Dragon. May have even mentioned that it was going up for sale that weekend. I lied. It’s still in the garage waiting for cooler weather to prevail for some windows down cruising. I hope Fall arrives soon. The heat is starting to bug me.

Brewing

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Bottled beer yesterday. Easiest part of the process by far. Two more weeks and it’s time to pop. There is plenty of alcohol in this batch, but as a wise man once told me, “I like a strong ale”. Nuff said.

Big Blue

The mighty have fallen (serious understatement) but it was a helluva run for the Wolverines.  I could go into a huge rant & rave with all sorts of stats, but that’s what the media is for. The Wolverine bashing is at an all time high. I consider it a compliment due to their streak of unsurpassed excellence. I’m focused on 2008 now. As far as I’m concerned, 2007 will be the year of my child’s birth and nothing else.  I don’t boo but I do whine. If that’s the worst of it, the world should be happy. Good bye Lloyd, thanks for the memories.
